Would it be possible to add a choice for autoupdate in the GUI?

I would like to see a choice for major updates (notification if a new version is available would be most welcome) and also for Test autoupdate. The test autoupdate entry in the .ini file is deleted after each test update, if someone wants to test all new versions, this is annouying.

9/30/2015 The version 1.3.4 from Winlink site flashes a "New Update Available" window, offering version 1.3.5. My Kaspersky protection instantly deletes it as containing a Trojan. I'd like to know how to stop that automatic check, so I can avoid accidents.
